There are 14 public toilets accessible to the disabled in the city centre of Florence.
Among them, this are the most central:

Borgo Santa Croce (next to the Basilica), via Filippina (between the back side of Palazzo Vecchio and Santa Croce Church), piazza Santa Maria Novella (left-side of the facade), Piazza San Giovanni (Duomo, next to the Baptistery),  Piazza Santo Spirito (left-side of the Basilica), Piazza de’ Ciompi, Piazza D’Azeglio, Parco delle Cascine (Viale Kennedy), Viale Galieli (near Piazzale Michelangelo), Lungarno Pecori Giraldi, Fortezza da Basso (gardens)

The common fare is  € 1,00

Remember, free toilets are also in most bars and restaurants, but just for their clients (only if you order something)
